The eromobil® is a mobile erosion device which removes broken tap drills, spiral drills etc. within minutes and without damaging the workpiece. Your professional solution for minimising disruptions in production and preventing rejects.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
The hollow copper electrode is clamped in the oscillating head. This is smaller in diameter than the broken tool. During the erosion process, the core of the broken tool is disintegrated. This releases the cutting edges of the tool which can be easily removed. The electrode does not come into contact with the workpiece so the thread remains undamaged. The drilling emulsion usually used for operation is used as cooling fluid.

For erosion on large magnetisable workpieces. With holding bracket and special flange to hold the oscillating head. Mobile carriage, upper section sliding and pivoting.
With a length of 80 mm, the camera’s neck is ideal for illuminating holes that are difficult to access or are deep after erosion. A free app can be used to transfer the view directly to your smartphone, tablet or PC.
